Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Moonshadow Festival! Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before attending. By attending the Moonshadow Festival, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to everyone, regardless of their role or position at the festival, including but not limited to attendees, performers, volunteers, vendors, and staff.

1. Acceptance of Risk

By attending the Moonshadow Festival, you acknowledge that participation in the festival involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, and other unforeseeable events. You agree to accept full responsibility for any risk of injury or harm to yourself or your property that may arise during your participation in the festival.

2. No Liability

Moonshadow Festival & Moonshadow Farms, its organizers, volunteers, vendors, and affiliates shall not be held responsible or liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims that may occur during the festival. This includes but is not limited to bodily injury, property damage, theft, loss of personal items, or any other incident that may arise during your attendance.

3. Discretion and Personal Responsibility

Attendance at Moonshadow Festival is entirely voluntary, and it is your responsibility to assess your own physical, mental, and emotional capabilities before participating. You agree to use discretion and judgment when deciding whether to attend and participate in festival activities.

4. Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, festival staff will make reasonable efforts to assist, but attendees are responsible for their own health and well-being. It is strongly recommended that attendees bring any necessary medications and be aware of their own medical needs. Moonshadow Festival is not liable for any medical emergencies that may arise.

5. Behavior and Conduct

All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards others and to follow all festival rules and guidelines. Any form of harassment, violence, or illegal activity will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the festival without refund.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Moonshadow Festival, its organizers, volunteers, vendors, and all affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your participation in the festival.

7. Changes to the Event

Moonshadow Festival reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, location, and activities without prior notice. No refunds will be issued in the event of any changes. Moonshadow is a rain or shine event.

8. Photography and Media

By attending the festival, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by festival staff or media. These materials may be used for promotional purposes without compensation.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Louisiana. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Louisiana.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By attending Moonshadow Festival, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

11. Force Majeure

Moonshadow Festival shall not be held responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations that are caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, or any other event of force majeure. No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation or changes due to such circumstances.

12. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited at Moonshadow Festival: illegal drugs, weapons, fireworks, glass containers, and any other items deemed unsafe by festival security. Attendees found in possession of prohibited items may be removed from the festival without refund.

13. Minors

Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Moonshadow Festival is not responsible for the supervision of minors. Parents and guardians assume full responsibility for the actions and safety of their children.

14. No Refunds

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather, illness, or changes to the festival schedule.

15. Lost and Found

Moonshadow Festival is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. A lost and found area is at front gate, but the festival does not guarantee the recovery of lost items.

16. Parking and Transportation

Parking at the festival is at your own risk. Moonshadow Festival is not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of vehicles or personal belongings left in vehicles. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the festival.

17. Third-Party Services

Moonshadow Festival may feature vendors and third-party service providers. The festival is not responsible for the actions, products, or services of these vendors. Any disputes or issues arising from third-party services must be resolved directly with the vendor.

18. Camping Rules

All campers must adhere to designated camping areas and follow all camping guidelines provided by the festival. Open fires, littering, and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited. Moonshadow Festival is not responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur within the camping area.

19. Environmental Responsibility

Moonshadow Festival is committed to environmental sustainability. Attendees are expected to dispose of waste responsibly, use recycling bins, and respect the natural surroundings. Violators may be subject to removal from the festival.

20. Amendments to Terms

Moonshadow Festival reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of attendees to review the most current version of the terms before attending the festival.
